Introduction

The pursuit of knowledge is a fundamental aspect of Islam, and we at IHS Kota Damansara strive to instill this value in our students. As educators, we believe that our role is to empower our students to seek knowledge and to guide them on the path to success. We take inspiration from the verse ‘And say, My Lord, increase me in knowledge‘ (Quran 20:114) which reminds us of the importance of constantly seeking knowledge to improve ourselves and to deepen our understanding of the world around us.

We also believe that the path to success is one of hard work and determination, as stated in the verse ‘And whoever seeks a way to the Garden and strives for it, then the Garden will be for him ( as a reward).‘ ( Quran 1 8:107). As educators, it is our duty to provide our students with the tools and guidance they need to strive for success, and to support them as they work towards achieving their goals.

At IHS Kota Damansara, we are committed to providing our students with a high-quality education that is grounded in Islamic values and principles. We believe that by fostering a culture of knowledge, hard work and perseverance, we can help our students to achieve their full potential and to lead fulfilling lives.

Our Values: Iman, Akhlaq, Imtiyaz, Caliph and Syukr.

Our Vision

Our Vision is for Integrated IHS Kota Damansara to be an exemplary professional learning community where children reap the benefits of an international, balanced, Islamic-based education.

Our Mission

IHS Kota Damansara aims at providing a tri-lingual international education that emphasizes the fundamental knowledge of Islam to help all students to realize their full potential and become holistic, wellbalanced, productive caliphs following the characters of the Prophet P.B.U.H.: Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh and Fathonah in their lives and leadership.

To ensure our children lead a life of true success, we seek to build specific values in them upon graduation from IHS program.

At our school, we strive to instill a strong sense of Akhlaq in our students. Akhlaq, which translates to good manners, is the foundation upon which we build our curriculum and extracurricular activities. We believe that by fostering good moral character/manners, our students will become responsible and compassionate individuals who make positive contributions to society. In addition to Akhlaq, we also place a strong emphasis on Imtiyaz, or excellence. We believe that every student has the potential to excel, and we provide the necessary resources and support to help them reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers, innovative curriculum, and extra-curricular programs all contribute to our students‘ development and success.

Finally, we instill a sense of Syukur, or gratitude in our students. We believe that by teaching our students to be grateful for what they have, they will become more appreciative and contented individuals. We encourage our students to give back to their community and to show gratitude towards their teachers, parents and peers.

All together, our focus on Akhlaq, Imtiyaz, and Syukur have helped our students to become well-rounded individuals who are ready to make a positive impact on the world.
